Dan Albas serves as the Member of Parliament for Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola. He has served in the House of Commons since 2011.
During his time in politics, Mr. Albas has served as Parliamentary Secretary to the President of Treasury Board, where he worked to reduce red tape for small businesses. He also passed a widely celebrated Private Members Bill which lowered internal trade barriers in Canada for wine sales. In the Conservative Caucus, Dan is currently the Shadow Minister for Small Business and sits on the Standing Committee on Finance.
Prior to joining federal politics, Dan was a City Councillor in Penticton, owner of Kick City Martial Arts, and a long-time community activist involved in numerous charitable activities. He currently lives with his wife, Tara, and four daughters in West Kelowna.
